The Mustangs took out the Smithville Warriors in a triple header last Tuesday at LSN Broncos Stadium. The A Team won 40-0, The B Team won 32-0 and the C Team won 22-0. A night of complete domination! GREAT JOB MUSTANGS!
OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Camden Sprouse - Camden led the team many scoring drives. He did a great job of executing the offense. Running hard on 3rd down and making the right reads! Awesome work, Camden!
Micheal Brown& Derek Rowe - Michael and Derek did a great job of doing what they were suppose to do. Wideouts want to catch the ball and score TD's but they also need to block and they both do a great job! Great job, guys!!!
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Harrison Wheat- Harrison definately had one of the craziest plays of the night. Smithville kept running a TE toss play. Harrison played his position and eventually they ran the toss to his side. The toss was long and Harrison intercepted it and gained 25 yards on the run back. Keep it up Harrison!
Will Mauer - All year we have been teaching the LB's to get to their drops in pass coverage. Will did exactly as he was taught and made a beautiful interception! Great job, Will!
IMPACT PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Austin Alvidrez - After the defense recovered a fumble, Austin took a jet sweep handoff and took it to the house on the first play from scrimmage for the Mustangs! His run and a run later in the 2nd quarter set the tone for the night. Great job, Austin!!!!
NEXT GAME: RAY-PEC EAST
The Mustangs last football game of the year will be played at Ray-Pec High School. Ray-Pec enters the game having only lost to Summit Lakes. It should be a great game and challenge for our kids!
