GAME THREE - PLEASANT LEA

For the first time in 9 years, the Mustangs took both games against the Tigers.  The A team broke a 7 year losing streak against their crosstown rivals winning 14-6.  The B team has won the last two years and their final Tuesday was 28-10. The C team completed the sweep of the Tigers with a victory on Wednesday 12-6.  Congrats to all the Mustangs!

Below is several photos from the Pleasant Lea game. Each game is photographed by the Upman family. You can view these photos on Facebook under the page BRUTUS BRONCO.  You can search Brutus Bronco on Facebook and view over 100 photos from the game.

OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
The HOGS! (Ryan Smith-LT, Harrison Wheat-LG, Jon Voss-C, Jackson Flanigan-RG, Mike Lewis-RT) - The term Hogs is a term of indearment.  The offensive line dominated the game by consistently getting a push that allowed the Mustangs to control the clock. Way to go, Hogs!

Micheal Brown -  Michael did a tremendous job of blocking and setting the edge all night long...oh yeah...he also hauled in a 40 yard TD pass.  Great job, Michael!!!!

 DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Dakota Collins- Dakota was a constant force on defense.  He never allowed the PL quarterback to get comfortable or have time to set his feet to throw.  Keep it up Dakota!

Jordan Wash - Pleasant leads by 2 in the B game...end of the 3rd quarter.  Wash, steps in front of fade route and intercepts the ball and runs it back for a momentum builder TD!  Great job, Brandon!

IMPACT PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jackson Flanigan - In a one posession game, Jackson had a QB sack with under a minute to go to put PL in a 4th and 15.  Without Jackson's huge play, who knows!   Great job, Jackson!!!!

OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC/CITIZENSHIP STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
John Riley - John was nominated by the staff of BCMS for performance in the classroom.  He is a role model for other students and sets a high bar for achievement!  Great job, John!!!

Next Opponent:  Summit Lakes (HOME game)

They are undefeated on the A and B level.  Enough said.  Lets go!
